One of the Tar Heels prized targets Hunter Sallis has set the day he will announce where he’ll be playing his college basketball next season. Sallis, a five star combo guard, will commit on his birthday March 26th. His list includes UNC, Creighton, UCLA, Iowa State, Kansas, Kentucky and Oregon. As of right now, crystal ball predictions have Sallis going to either Spokane or Lexington, not Chapel Hill. Is it believed that Sallis, and another Tar Heel target, Chet Holmgren will be a combo package for whatever school lands their services.
Right now, Carolina has commitments from Dontrez Styles and D’Marco Dunn in their 2021 recruiting class, in addition to the offers of the aforementioned Sallis, Holmgren and Patrick Baldwin Jr.
