Over the weekend, the Tar Heels hosted two of their remaining targets in the 2025 class and the team has now picked up a crystal ball prediction for one of them.

247Sports’ recruiting analyst Anna Adams placed her crystal ball prediction for 2025 4✮ DL Isaiah Campbell earlier today in favor of the Tar Heels following his official visit to campus for the team’s game against Wake Forest. Her prediction comes shortly after a sit down with Campbell's father, who reportedly admitted that the family was impressed by what they saw in their time in Chapel Hill. Adams is the first person to cast a prediction since he took the final of his official visits before his decision.

This crystal ball is an encouraging sign that things might be starting to turn in their favor, but the staff will have to keep pushing to ensure they can hold off an inevitable push from Tennessee. The Volunteers received a lot of love following his official visit there back on October 19th, including multiple predictions from the recruiting experts, so it feels like the two teams are probably neck-and-neck right now heading into a decision that could happen at any time. The Tar Heels having the final visit is a nice advantage, but until he makes that decision, this staff needs to keep their foot on the gas.

Campbell, the No. 39 overall player and No. 5 defensive lineman, is currently in the midst of his senior season at Southern High School in Durham, NC. He has some strong production in limited action, tallying 68 total tackles, 18.0 tackles for loss and 10.0 sacks in just six games. This follows a junior season where he finished with 110 total tackles, 27.0 tackles for loss and 16.0 sacks.
