The ACC announced today that Carolina’s matchup with Syracuse scheduled for Saturday, January 2nd has been postponed due to COVID positives with a recent Orange opponent. The guidelines the ACC are adhering by forces the Orange to quarantine for a number of days, forcing the postponement of what would have been Carolina’s ACC home opener.
It’s unknown at this time if Carolina will find a new opponent to play on January 2nd. Right now Carolina’s next scheduled game is next Wednesday at Georgia Tech.
