With ACC Operation Basketball last week in Charlotte, that meant the media would be releasing numerous pre-season predictions. Cole Anthony was the recipient of some high praise. The media selected the talented freshman to be the Freshman of the Year, and a first team All-ACC player. Anthony was also second, in the voting for ACC Player of the Year. There is a chance for Anthony to achieve these goals, as Carolina lost 4 starters from a season ago, including lottery pick Coby White.
