With 26 prospects already committed to their 2024 class, the Tar Heels have just one target remaining in the form of 3✮ DL Leroy Jackson. Earlier today, he announced the date for his upcoming commitment.
Jackson, the No. 123 DL in the class according to the 247Sports rankings, will reveal his decision November 4th at 12:00 PM EST. That decision will take place right around kickoff of the Tar Heels matchup with Campbell that afternoon.
Jackson, a senior at Lee County High School in Leesburg, GA, is coming off of a visit to Chapel Hill this past weekend for the Tar Heels victory over Miami. As of right now, it doesn’t appear that Jackson has any more visits scheduled over the next two weekends prior to his decision. Inside Carolina’s Don Callahan placed the Tar Heels as the favorite in an article written by Grant Hughes on 247Sports on Tuesday.
