Heel Tough Blog: UNC Offers 2022 Big Man

On Monday morning, Dylan Anderson received a scholarship offer from Coach Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Anderson is a 7-foot, 215 pound center from Gilbert, Arizona. Anderson is a four star and listed by 247Sports as the 43rd prospect in the 2022 class.

Given his size, Anderson is able to impact the game at both ends of the court. He is a formidable rim protector and rebounder. Anderson is an efficient low post scorer and is working on extending his perimeter game. Anderson is the first Arizona prospect to hold a North Carolina offer since Jerryd Bayless in 2006.

When considering the 2022-23 roster, it is likely Armando Bacot, Day’Ron Sharpe, and Walker Kessler will no longer be in Chapel Hill, thus the need and importance of big men in the 2022 class.

North Carolina now has four offers out for the 2022 class. Anderson joins Skyy Clark, Jaden Bradley, and Mark Mitchell.

In addition to the Tar Heels, Anderson holds scholarship offers from both in-state schools, Arizona and Arizona State, California, Creighton, Gonzaga, Kansas, Michigan, and Grand Canyon.
