Heel Tough Blog: 2027 Official Visit Schedules- S

Official visits are set to resume for the 2027 class at the end of month, as the Tar Heels look to convince some important targets that they should be a part of what will be a smaller class this year for the program after the massive class the group brought in last cycle. To get you prepared, we’re taking a look at the prospects that have scheduled official visits with the program by position groups and updating you on where their recruitments stand heading into the month. Today, we’ll look at the three safety prospects who are scheduled to be on campus this summer, one of which is already a commit.

3✮ S Alan Blackshere- Miami Carol City (Miami, FL): June 12th

Blackshere is another target that looks like he has narrowed his decision down to three schools heading into the month. All three schools have to feel good with where they stand and that they have the opportunity to win this battle at the end of the month. It feels like the Tar Heels are motivated to add another safety in this class and they have the chance to prove to Blackshere that he is the priority when he hits campus.

3✮ S Chuck Roberts- IMG Academy (Mission Hills, CA): May 29th [COMMITTED TO UNC]

Roberts committed to the Tar Heels back in December and remains firmly committed to the team. He does not have any official visits scheduled elsewhere, meaning the Tar Heels can focus on other prospects during this first weekend of official visits.

3✮ S Royalton Allen- Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA): June 5th

Allen has made some late tweaks to his official visit schedule, but is still expected to make it to Chapel Hill at this time. Wisconsin (May 29th), Colorado State (May 31st) and BYU (June 12th) are all expected to get visits, as well, in what feels like a pretty even race heading into the month. It’ll be up to the Tar Heels to stand out and convince him that a move across the country is the right one for him.
