With Carolina having a week off in between games, we expected the league office to make adjustments to Carolina’s remaining ACC schedule, after having a game postponed due to COVID back in December. That came to fruition today, as the Tar Heels learned they will play that postponed game against Virginia Tech on, Monday, January 24th at 8 PM on ACC Network. That means starting January 18th, Carolina will play 5 games in 11 days, That also pushes Carolina’s total of conference games in January up to 10, the Tar Heels are currently 3-1 in ACC play.
The Tar Heels were supposed to play Louisville on Monday, January 31st, but given Carolina’s aforementioned stretch of 5 games in 11 days, the ACC pushed the game back one day, to February 1st. That makes it 9 ACC games as well for UNC in the month of February.
Up Next: The Tar Heels are back in action this Saturday, as they host Georgia Tech on ACC Network at 8 PM.
