It was announced earlier today, that Mack Brown has received a one year contract extension. With the extension Brown is now under contract through the 2024 season. After some time away from the game, it's clear that Brown has enjoyed his return to the sidelines. The program he has resurrected has enjoyed him doing so. In his first year on the job, Mack has upgraded the facilities and playing surface, sold out all 6 games in Kenan Stadium, strengthen the ties with the high school football coaches, and more importantly restore a winning attitude within the building. All this success made it easy for the athletic department to give the Hall of Fame head coach a extension, even if it is only a one year one at that.
Carolina will return the the gridiron on Friday December 27th, when they'll take on Temple in the Military Bowl in Annapolis,MD.
