Early this afternoon 4✮ DUAL Malik Hornsby announced his decommitment from the Tar Heel football program. Hornsby, a senior at Fort Bend Marshall High School in Missouri City, Texas committed to Carolina back in May.
This now leaves only one quarterback committed in the 2020 class in Jacolby Criswell. Now it helps that there are currently 3 freshman quarterbacks on the roster, so for now the quarterback position is in really good hands.
With Hornsby’s decommitment, the Tar Heels 2020 class falls all the way down to 17th, in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. The class also drops to 4th in the ACC.
