Heel Tough Blog: Official Visit Mid-Week Preview- June 1st

After hosting a big weekend of official visits in Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels will turn their attention to their lone midweek visitor that will be on campus over the next few days. Here’s a look at where the recruitment of that target stands heading into the week.

3✮ CB Joshua Vilmael- William B. Travis (Richmond, TX): June 2nd-4th

Vilmael just added the Tar Heels to his official visit schedule and they are now firmly in the mix for him along with Florida State, Kansas State and Kentucky. With his brother being a part of Kansas State’s roster, they have to be the favorites, but it looks like this is a pretty wide-open recruitment at this point. Vilmael taking a visit midweek means he’ll be the sole focus when he’s on campus and the Tar Heels will have a great opportunity to make a lasting impression.
