On the eve of their season, Carolina secured another win on the recruiting trail, this time in Donovan “Puff” Johnson. Puff is the younger brother of former Tar Heel, Cameron Johnson who played for two seasons after beginning his career at Pittsburgh. Puff is a consensus 4 star wing player, and is versatile enough to play either the 2 or the 3. He obviously has the range to shoot the long ball, but also has the ability to put the ball on the floor, and attack the rim. Puff joins what’s a already loaded class that includes bigs Day’Ron Sharpe and Walker Kessler, along with floor general RJ Davis.
