Earlier this month, the Tar Heels extended an offer to 2025 4✮ CG Acaden Lewis and on Thursday morning, he set two visits to Chapel Hill, including his first official visit later this year.
Lewis will be in Chapel Hill next Thursday for an unofficial visit shortly following a trip up to Connecticut to visit Dan Hurley and the reigning national champions. He will be back in Chapel Hill in October for his official visit the weekend of October 4th-6th.
Lewis’s most recent unofficial visit to Lexington produced an offer from Mark Pope and Kentucky, something that has been happening a lot for him in recent months. To this point, Lewis holds 26 offers, the majority of which have rolled in during the past couple of months.
Lewis, who is from Washington, D.C., and is ranked as the No. 49 prospect according to 247Sports Composite, while being the No. 9 combo guard, and the No. 2 player from the nation’s capital. He is coming off a junior season at Sidwell Friends School where he averaged 14.5 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, 4.3 assists per game and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 48% overall and 33% from 3-point range on the way to being named the Gatorade Player of Year in the District of Columbia.
