For the second time this week, the Tar Heels have landed a member of the final official visit group that was on campus this past weekend.

Just moments ago, 2026 3✮ WR Zamaurious Robertson announced at a ceremony at his high school that he has committed to UNC over offers from Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Liberty and Navy. His commitment comes after the Tar Heels handed him an offer back on June 8th at one of their prospect camps, leading to his official trip to campus this past weekend.

Robertson, who is currently unranked in the 2026 class by 247Sports Composite Player Rankings, hails from Dillon High School in Dillon, SC. This past season, as a junior, he caught 68 passes for 948 yards and nine touchdowns in ten games, receiving SCFCA 3A All-State honors. On the defensive side of the football, he also chipped in 9 total tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss and three interceptions. The previous year, as a sophomore, Robertson caught 18 receptions, 287 yards and three touchdowns and pulled down four interceptions on defense, two of which he returned for a touchdown.

Robertson is a guy who won’t blow you away by what he puts on film, but he is a really solid all-around player. He provides some nice versatility as a guy who has the frame to play on the outside but also brings enough twitch to play in the slot. His speed after the catch is promising and he has some shiftiness to his game that allows him to make defenders miss in the open field. He does a good job of winning on routes at all three levels, especially in the short to intermediate part of the game. He will have to diversify his route tree at the next level, but he does run his routes hard, which is why he is able to free himself up. He won’t come in with much hype, but this is a guy who could surprise some people once he gets to campus as a reliable option that just gets open.

With his commitment, the Tar Heels now have 24 commits in their 2026 class, including two at the wide receiver position. The class now sits No. 18 overall and No. 5 in the ACC according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.
