Heel Tough Blog: 2027 Official Visit Schedules- TE

Official visits are set to resume for the 2027 class at the end of month, as the Tar Heels look to convince some important targets that they should be a part of what will be a smaller class this year for the program after the massive class the group brought in last cycle. To get you prepared, we’re taking a look at the prospects that have scheduled official visits with the program by position groups and updating you on where their recruitments stand heading into the month. Today, we’ll look at the one tight end target that the team has on their board right now following his visit to Chapel Hill back in April.

4✮ TE Mason Oglesby- New Palestine (New Palestine, IN): April 17th

Oglesby is the only prospect that has already officially visited campus and is the lone target that will do so at the tight end position as of right now. The Tar Heels seemed to help themselves a lot with the visit that took place back in mid-April judging off some of the quotes he gave afterwards. The question is, was it enough to overtake what in-state Indiana has shown him? At this point, it doesn’t appear that was the case.
