The Tar Heels might have six commitments in the 2026 class along the offensive front, but they don’t appear to be done just yet.
On Tuesday, the Tar Heels landed in another top schools list for a blue-chip target in the position room that they recently hosted for an official visit. 2026 4✮ IOL Brandon Anderson is down to UNC, Tennessee and Missouri, the last three schools that he officially visited earlier this month. He will reveal his commitment on Sunday between the three schools.
Anderson, the No. 354 overall prospect and No. 29 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class, hails from North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, GA. This past season, as a junior, he was named a member of the 6A All-State team and All-Cobb County team while helping North Cobb run for 244.8 yards per game and throw 138.6 per game on the way to an 11-1 season. The previous season as a sophomore at North Atlanta High School, he earned all-region for a team that finished the 2023 season 9-2, the best mark for the program in the last 20 years.
Going into the commitment, it feels like Tennessee, the school that he was committed to from October to January, will be the pick after telling Ryan Callahan of GoVols247 that the team is “No. 1” following his official visit there this past weekend.
