Friday is the beginning of an unprecedented stretch of commitments from Tar Heel football targets. That’s when 2024 3✮ CB Teddy Foster will announce his commitment as another domino in the cycle’s defensive back group falls.
Foster’s decision will be revealed later tonight live at 7:00 PM EST on the Cardinal Mooney Instagram page. Late last week, Foster announced the three schools that will be on the table for the commitment. The Tar Heels are one of those three along with in-state schools Florida and Miami.
Foster officially visited Chapel Hill back in that second weekend of June and clearly they did enough to establish themselves as a serious contender. He would follow that up a week later, though, with an official trip to Gainesville and the Gators firmly cemented their status as the leader in the race for him. At this point, it would be an absolute shock if it is not the Florida hat that is on his head tomorrow.
The recruiting sites also agree that this is leaning heavily in the direction of Billy Napier’s squad heading in. All seven predictions across the three major sites see this going the Gators’ way and boast a high confidence level. The On3 Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine is also overwhelming in Florida’s favor, giving them a 97.7% chance to land his commitment.
