With the possible decommitment of Gregory “GG” Jackson looming over the Carolina Basketball program, Hubert Davis is ensuring that when that news is official, he and the staff, are in contact with potential replacements for Jackson in the 2023 class. Early yesterday, Davis offered four-star power forward, TJ Power a scholarship, as he’s one of the best stretch forwards in the 2023 class, and is the No. 1 power forward from Massachusetts. Davis didn’t stop there though, as last night he offered another power forward, 6-8, Zayden High from national prep power Arizona Compass Prep, who last year saw TyTy Washington standout out for Kentucky, before leaving for the NBA.
According to 247Sports Composite, High is ranked as the No. 37 overall player in the 2023 class, while being ranked as the No. 9 power forward overall, and the No. 2 player from the state of Arizona. High has already been offered by the likes of Arkansas, Alabama, Arizona State, Michigan, and Villanova, among many other quality programs.
