With the summer AAU circuit over, prospects are busy finalizing their recruitments, scheduling visits, and narrowing down their list of schools, ahead of the upcoming high school basketball season. The Tar Heels are involved with a handful of the best prospects the 2026 class has to offer, with multiple visits already scheduled for later this fall, starting in September. Earlier tonight, they made the final six for power forward, Quinn Constello. Costello is ranked as the No. 70 player in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports, but is considered to be the No. 11 power forward and the No. 1 player from the state of Massachusetts. The other schools that Costello is considering are Michigan State, Michigan, Purdue, and Minnesota from the Big 10, along with Texas out of the SEC.
