Heel Tough Blog: Hubert Davis Offers 2023 PF TJ Power

The Hoop Hustle

Over the last week or so, there has been a sense around the recruitment of five-star prospect, Gregory “GG” Jackson, that he will back out of his commitment to North Carolina, potentially commit to South Carolina, and even possibly reclassify, and play college basketball this season. That belief is now likely shared by Hubert Davis and his staff, as today they offered four-star power forward, TJ Power. Power is a 6-8 stretch four, who is one of the best perimeter shooters for his position, and a natural fit in Hubert Davis’s system. Power is currently ranked as the No. 65 player in the 2023 cycle, according to 247Sports Composite, as well as being considered the No. 13 power forward, and the No. 1 player from the state of Massachusetts.

Power has been offered by the likes of UCLA, defending national champion Kansas, and Ohio State, among other high-profile programs in college basketball, but considering the success already of Hubert Davis on the recruiting trail, he and his staff will be up for the challenge.
