After adding guards Terrence Brown and Matt Able in the transfer portal earlier, the Tar Heels struck in the transfer portal for a third time today, landing FAU forward Maxim Logue. Logue, who is 6-9, averaged 4.8 points and 3.1 rebounds, on 67% shooting, last year for the Owls, in 28 games.

Before transferring to FAU, Logue started his college basketball career at Oregon State, where he averaged 2.9 points and 2.0 rebounds, on 65% shooting, in 21 games for the Beavers. Logue has played in 49 career games and is a lifetime 4.0 point per game scorer, while averaging 2.6 rebounds, on 67% shooting. He was not ranked in the 247Sports transfer portal database.

Logue is a native of France, so Carolina’s roster will have some international flavor next year, after losing Luka Bogavac and Ivan Matlekovic to the transfer portal, both of whom arrived in college basketball after playing overseas.

This move comes after the latest update from Inside Carolina on Henri Veesaar’s pending decision, which, according to the latest, would lead you to believe that Veesaar won’t be returning to Chapel Hill and will enter the NBA Draft. While that is not official, Carolina and Michael Malone are seeking other options after losing Zayden High, James Brown, and Ivan Matlekovic to the transfer portal, which ultimately led them to Maxim Logue.
